Governor Sherrill, you visited Delaney Hall during your campaign. We need your help now to free the hardworking, law-abiding Americans and New Jersey residents who are our neighbors and raising their families in peace.
More than 300 people detained inside Delaney Hall in Newark have launched a hunger and labor strike, refusing food and stopping work to call attention to the conditions they face behind bars — reports of medical neglect, lack of air conditioning, and spoiled food. They are asking for a full investigation of the facility and for you, our Governor, to come and see for yourself.
Governor Sherrill, you can raise awareness. Amplify our voices, and “Free Them All.”
New Jersey residents are holding around-the-clock vigils to show support for the detainees. We are their neighbors, their families, and their fellow New Jerseyans — and we are asking you to stand with us. We need your help.
